Who runs this site

PENDING: the operator's legal name, registered address and tax identifier go here. Until they do, this page is not publishable.

Site: hulines.io · Contact: [email protected]

What the service is

HULinES lets the owner of an aftermarket Linux head unit customise its interface and tune its settings to their own screen, and download a firmware ready to install over USB.

It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any manufacturer or distributor named on the site. Their names are used to say what a unit is, and for no other purpose.

Intellectual property

The site's own text, design and code belong to its operator. A manufacturer's firmware belongs to whoever made it: we hold your copy as a private working file on your behalf and publish none of it.

A theme you publish stays yours. You grant the licence you choose when you publish it, and nothing more.

The Tux penguin used as a background mark on a project's summary was drawn by Larry Ewing ([email protected]) with The GIMP, and is used with his permission: “Permission to use and/or modify this image is granted provided you acknowledge me ([email protected]) and The GIMP.” We acknowledge Larry Ewing and The GIMP here, which is what that licence asks for.

The vector version we serve comes from Wikimedia Commons (File:Tux.svg) and is the work of Larry Ewing, Simon Budig and Garrett LeSage. Linux® is a registered trademark of Linus Torvalds. Neither Tux nor that trademark implies that Linus Torvalds, The GIMP or the image's authors endorse this site.

A shop's logo, where one appears, belongs to that shop and is shown to identify it. Everything else — the HULinES logo, the icons and our own illustrations — belongs to the site's owner.

Applicable law

Spanish law, and the courts of the operator's domicile, without prejudice to any right you have as a consumer to sue where you live.
